Rebuffing all the speculations, Superstar Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan and Amitabh Bachchan's Bhootnath Returns have locked their release on April 11, for Tamil New Year.
Earlier there were reports that stated Rajini's Kochadaiiyaan and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2 might battle at the Indian Box Office on April 11. It looks like Big B has joined the race and Kamal backed out.
Soundarya R Ashwin directed Kochadaiiyaan is an epic dramatization of good versus bad filmed using 3D Picture Capture Technology with Deepika Padukone as the female lead and AR Rahman's music. While Bhoothnath Returns is the remake of 2008 released Bhootnath also starring Boman Irani.
Both the superstars from Bollywood and Kollywood enjoys good fan base throughout the world apparently makers have planned to release their movies worlwide on same day.
