Superstar Rajinikanth's Moondru Mugam is an yesteryear blockbuster produced by RM Veerappan on Sathya Movies. Now, Five Star Kathiresan has bought the remake rights of Moondru Mugam that will go on floors soon.
Post successful Jigarthanda directed by Karthik Subbaraj with Siddharth, Lakshmi Menon, Bobby Simhaa, Karunakaran and others, Kathiresan is setting the stage for Moondru Mugam remake.
While there is no information about the cast and crew, mongers in the tinsel town have it that Ilayathalapathi Vijay, Thala Ajith and Karthi are the front-runner to reprise Thalaivar's role. While Ajith has already done Billa and Karthi played 'Alex Pandian' role, it is Vijay to look up for the character.
