Rajini’s Kabali to release in 2000 theatres in South alone

It has been reported that superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Kabali is to release in more than 2,000 halls in all the Southern States put together.As reported earlier, Rajini’s Pa. Ranjith-directed Kabali is all set to release in cinema halls worldwide on 01st July. Rajini working with a Gen-X director after a long time and in Santhosh Narayanan’s music have upped the expectations about the film to a huge extent.Rajini plays a don in the film which has been shot majorly in Malaysia and in Bangkok, Chennai and other places.

The teaser of the film, released on 01st of this month, has so far been viewed/downloaded by more than 2 crore people, thus creating a new Indian record.Kabali releases in more than 2,000 halls in the Southern States of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telengana and Andhra Pradesh. In all, the film is slated to release in more than 3,000 halls the world over. In Tamil Nadu alone, the film releases in 800-odd halls. Producer ‘Kalaipuli’ Thanu earlier said that the Chinese-dubbed version of the film would also be released on the same day in China and elsewhere.In all probability, the audio of Kabali is to be released on 28th May.
