Sarika has got up a script for a film that will deal with surviving mental illness.
The movie will revolve around The Banyan, the famous NGO for the rehabilitation of mentally ill destitute women.
Sarika had links with The Banyan for long and now she plans to use it for a good cause.
Talking to newsmen yesterday said the film would give the issue a good focus for others to take it up further.
But finding the money for the film may still be tricky. Only a part of the finance is ready. But the remaining is to be raised from the corporate and other sources.
Sarika said that the choice of the artistes would depend on their commitment to the cause.
'I am looking for stars who will be sensitive to the nature of the subject,' she said.
The movie would be very upfront and take on the issue head-on.
