Uyir and ‘Mirugam’ fame, director Samy’s much waited long time movie ‘Sarithiram’ has finally gets its release date now. Director says that the movie will hit the screens on coinciding the Independence Day, on Aug 15 this year.
Samy says that the movie is almost at its completion stage except a few scenes. The lead characters Aadhi, Rajkiran and Sri Devika have played very well in the film.
On the other hand, Samy has started his new project named ‘Sindhu Samaveli’ that would be released before Sarithiram, by the end of June. It has Harish and Gajini playing the male leads and Mollywood actress Amala Paul plays the female lead.
On speaking about the film, he says “It’s not a period film. A love story that talks about the present day youth and quite like my earlier movies, this one too will talk about the importance of women.”
