Chintamani Kola Case, a Malayalam movie starring Suresh Gopi and Bhavana, was released a few months ago in Kerala. The movie had a decent run and Suresh Gopi's performance as an advocate was widely appreciated.
Now plans are on to remake the movie in Tamil.
Sathyaraj is tipped to play the role enacted by Suresh Gopi. Director Suresh Krishna, who directed movies including Annamalai and Baasha is tipped to make his comeback to Tamil with the movie.
The director after a slew of failures in Tamil ventured to Bollywood and churned out an action-packed entertainer titled Rocky.
The remake of Chintamani Kola Case is expected to begin after Sathyaraj completes Periyar directed by Gnanarajasekaran.
