After Vallavan, Silambarasan is doing a couple of big movies including Kalaa (directed by Tharun Gopi) and director Nandhu's Kettavan.
Speaking about Kalaa, he says, 'Director Tharun Gopi has narrated the story long back. After Thotti Jaya, I play an action-hero in Kalaa. It is a commercial entertainer laced with action'.
Vedhika plays one of the heroines. G V Prakash has composed the music and plans are on to release the movie on 15 August.
'Kettavan has story penned by me. Since I felt the workload and pressure was tremendous on me, I have assigned Nandhu, one of my associates, to direct the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for the movie. A Mumbai model and Namitha play the heroines. I would also be playing the lead role in a movie to be produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers to be directed by cinematographer Saravanan. It is titled Silambattam', he says
