Raktha Charithram directed by Ram Gopal Varma was made on real life incidents of Paritala Ravi a politician and a gangster in Andhra Pradesh. The story is all about the rival between Paritala Ravi and Maddalacheruvu Suri.
The role of Paritala Ravi is played by Vivek Oberoi and Suriya is playing the role of Maddalacheruvu Suri. Suriya who is entering into Bollywood with this film said that he had dubbed his own voice in Hindi. RGV helped and supported a lot for dubbing in Hindi. The hero thanked RGV for his great support.
