Directed by Hari, the movie features Vadivelu, Charanraj, Nasser, Kalabhavan Mani, Raj Kapoor, Charlie, Lakshmi and Saranya among others'. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music and cinematography by Priyan.
Quite typical to Hari's films, Vel will have a right cocktail of action, romance, sentiments and humor.

The movie would be shot in Karaikudi, Dindigul, Pollachi, Tenkasi, Thirunelveli and Coutralam.
