After a brief interval, actor-director S J Suryah is back in business now. He is all set to commence shooting for debutant director Ratnakumar's Thirumagan.
The movie being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu will feature Meera Jasmine in the lead role.
If you expect Suryah to come up again with crass comedy or double-entendres, then you would be in for a big disappointment. Says Suryah,"unlike my earlier films, Thirumagan is a movie with a village backdrop. The characters are portrayed in a realistic manner and the entire movie would be shot in interior villages".
On her part, Meera Jasmine said, "It has a very striking storyline. Once I heard the script, I decided to accept it. Has a greater importance for heroine".
Kalaipuli S Thanu is currently producing Sakkaraikatti starring Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Bharat starrer Chennai Kadhal being directed by Vikraman.
