The history of Tamil cinema can never be written without volumes on the multi-talented multi-faceted Kamal Haasan. Today he starts his 57th year in the industry as his debut film ‘Kalathur Kannamma’ was released on August 12th 1959.
The Ulaganayagan is recovering fast from his injury to his leg which required two surgeries and sources close to him reveal that he is itching to get back to what makes him tick – movie making. Efforts are on to acquire the rights of ‘Viswaroopam 2’ from Aascar Ravichandran and release it for Diwali and the master of all things cinema will start shooting his ‘Sabhash Naidu’ in a month’s time.
