'Being part of a historical movie is a delight', says Vadivelu. The comedian-turned-hero had commenced shooting for Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan in which he plays three roles - Lord Indira, Yamaraja and a contemporary youth Na Azhagappan.
The shooting commenced at huge sets put up at Prasad Studios. The Indiraloham has been recreated at a cost of Rs three crore.
Directed by Thambi Ramiah, the movie is supposedly a hilarious entertainer.
Speaking on the sets, Vadivelu said, 'I never imagined that I would become a hero one day. I thank all my fans for encouraging me and help me reach this level'.
On the movie, he said, 'Being part of a historical film is no easy joke. Imsai Arasan helped me take on such roles with confidence. Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan is a another step in this direction. Wearing grand costumes and walking in such grand sets gives me a different feel'.
The movie would be completed in a quick time. Produced by Manickam Narayanan, Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan is a movie revolves around Lord Indira, Yamaraja and a Tamil youth (Azhagappan).
