Music must be in her genes. Shivani Venkat, 5 years old child of director Venkat Prabhu, has sung a song in an album on Pondichery Mother. The song is a sort of remix of yesteryear's popular song 'Ammavum Neeye', from 'Kalathur Kannamma', sung by L.R. Rajeswari.

Music director Gangai Amaran, who has utilised the song to praise the Mother, has made her grand daughter Shivani sing the song, in which Kamal Haasan, the child artist acted. The original song was sung by Rajeswari, who changed her voice to suit the child. Amaran has now made a child to sing the song.

The album titled 'Thaaaii' has ten songs in praise of the Mother. Many leading singers like Chitra, Anuradha Sriram, Vijay Yesudas, Haricharan, and Tippu have sung in the divine album. Venkat prabhu too has sung a song in the album.

Shivani, studying in UKG, is now learning classical music. Her rendition is outstanding and her voice in the high pitch is simply amazing.
