Unlike Suriya or Vikram and Rajinikanth or Kamal Hasan; one star Tamil hero who doesn’t enjoy any big market attention in Telugu states is Ilayathalapathy Vijay. Despite a row of battles waged on Telugu Box Office in last few years, he hasn’t achieved much success. Apparently, this isn’t stopping him from crossing the swords with our veteran super stars.
As per a grapevine in Tollywood circles, Vijay’s latest flick ‘Bairavaa’ with Keerthy Suresh in Bharathan direction is moving the pawns to have a release on 12th January 2017 in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. Officially, Tamil makers have fielded their movie in Sankranti race because Vijay is a super star there but not in Telugu.
With Chiranjeevi ‘Khaidi No 150’ and Balakrishna ‘Gauthami Puthra Satakarni’ besides Sharwanand ‘Shatha Manam Bhavathi’ locked their spots for January 11, 12 and 13th (as per the available information) respectively, there is no space for Vijay and his ‘Bairavaa’ to set the foot on Telugu soil.
