Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Jilla had hit the big-screens on January 10 on the eve of Pongal. The film had earned mixed response despite the fans being pleased with the scenes between the two stars Vijay and Mohanlal.
Jilla earned criticism for its run length as it is too long with 3 hours and 2 minutes run time. Considering the audiences response, the makers of Jilla have trimmed the film by chopping of 10 minutes. The new version is already being screened from today and it is indeed good move by the producers.
