Venkat Prabhu's 'Saroja', a bilingual movie being made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously, is a thriller.
The tag line reads like this: One Ordinary Day Four Ordinary Men and One Extraordinary Situation.
When enquired about this mysterious tag line, we came to know that four strangers come together through different incidents and for different reasons. They have nothing in common. The meeting point for them is Saroja - the girl.
These four guys, Mirchi Siva, SPB Charan, Premji Amaran and Vaibav, are trying to woo Saroja. The competition, to say with the local flavour is, 'Sarojava Yaar Ushar Pandrathu?'
The love angle slowly develops as a thriller as the film moves ahead.
Though 'Saroja' is a thriller, it has become 'serious comedy' after the inclusion of Premji, reveals director Venkat Prabhu. Premji's hilarious comedy will be a big relief to the serious movie, says the director.
Prakashraj, who dons an important role in the film, is quite happy with the character. Venkat informs that his cooperation to the movie is amazing.
Jayaram says that this movie will be a milestone in his entire career. He is playing a cop in the movie, which is played by Sri Hari (who played Trisha's brother in 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana') in the Telugu version.
The movie has Yuan Shankar Raja as music composer and Sakthi Chidambaram as cameraman.
Though the success of 'Chennai 60028' puts a lot of pressure on the team to live up to the huge expectations, the team is playing it cool. They are confident of recreating the magic, for which they work hard with dedication.
