Srikanth has tried being an action hero A romantic one too. Now with Bambhara Kannaley, he tries to go for the mass hero tag.

But this is a coveted spot. It is not easy to become a mass hero as the recognition has to come from the public. But to Srikanth€™s credit it should be said that he has given a honest shot at it. Playing a low-class youth working in a printing press, Srikanth has come out with a lively performance. Unlike his earlier movies, Bambhara Kannaley provides sample scope for Srikanth to bring out his varied skills in acting.

Debutant director Parthe Bhaskar has taken the help of Srikanth Deva, whose peppy music is sure to appease their target audience.

The movie is about Srikanth, a low class youth who goes to Ooty for a job and comes across Aarthy Agarwal. He falls in love with her. However her parents arrange for her wedding with Vikram Adhithya, who happens to be a slimy cookie.

Thanks to Srikanth's help, Aarthy manages to expose the true image of Vikram. Adhithya and the marriage gets halted. A sequence of events results in Srikanth returning to Chennai and Vikram Adhithya resolving to take revenge on Srikanth.

Does Aarthy reciprocate Srikanth's love or Vikram Athithya succeeds in his mission forms the climax.

Srikanth dazzles, be it in action or romantic sequences. He has put sincere efforts behind preparing himself for the role.

Making her debut in Tamil is Tollywood star Aarthy Agarwal and she has delivered what was expected from her Glam doll Namitha fulfils the purpose for casting her in the movie. Vadivelu manages to evoke laughter in places. Vikram Adhithya turns in a neat performance.

Srikanth Deva belts out his signature tunes with abandon.

Parthe Bhaskar has a yen for gritty masala stuff.
