Popular magazine Forbes has recently come out with 2016's celebrity top-100 list featuring film actors, sportspersons, singers, TV personalities, Comedians and authors. But, to everyone's shock, Forbes list had a disappointment for Telugu Film fans.Yes, only 4 Tollywood stars were able to find place in the list of top 100 celebs, that include Mahesh Babu (33), Allu Arjun (43), NTR Jr (55) and Ram Charan (67). Also, what is catching everyone's eye is that Prabhas (who attained nation-wide popularity with Baahubali) and Pawan Kalyan (craziest star of TFI) couldn't confirm their berths in top 100.According to Forbes Magazine, the parameters taken under consideration are annual earnings, fame, Google rankings, media coverage and others.
But, despite attaining national and international craze with Baahubali, actor Prabhas was ignored in the list, which also gave a miss to Jana Sena chief and hero with huge following, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan.Film pandits and fans are highly surprised and apparently, raise a question of doubt over their popularity. Apart of these two, India's most bankable filmmaker Rajamouli also failed to jump on the bandwagon. So, let's hope they strike it lucky in the coming year.
