Ace Telugu filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli hopes to explore new avenues for his upcoming Telugu period-drama "Baahubali" at the ongoing 16th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF).

Rajamouli's "Eega" is being screened at SIFF along with other Indian films such as "3 Idiots", "Jolly LLB", "Murder 3", "Barfi" and "Pushpak".

"(I'm) going to shanghai tonight to attend the film fest. (I will be) exploring new avenues and territories for "Baahubali"," posted Rajamouli, who left Saturday to join the fest, on his Twitter page.

"Baahubali" is Rajamouli's most anticipated high-budget film that features Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Prabhas in the lead roles. The film has been in pre-production for months and is expected to go on floor soon.

Touted to be high on visual effects and daredevilry stunts, the film's cast spent last few months in getting trained in sword fight and horse riding.

"Baahubali" will be simultaneously made in Hindi and Tamil as well along with its Telugu version.
