SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali has conferred with best film award in national awards. It was the only film to win in the top category as Bollywood dominated the list of awardees. Seems the award for the telugu film didn't goes well with other industry biggies. Several artistes have taken a dig at the movie in the past.
One more person to join the bandwagon of stars who rapped Telugu blockbuster is Punjabi filmmaker Gurvinder Singh. Gurvinder Singh, whose film Chauthi Koot won the National award for best Punjabi movie, says Baahubali did not deserve best feature film honour at the awards. Speaking to media he said that 'Baahubali' is the worst film ever to have got a National award.
"Baahubali is total crap and probably the worst film ever to receive a National Award. Not only me many are expressing the same view. Its just a BJP Award, not a National Award. Art films have been ignored completely this time" He said
In the past, legendary Telugu actor Jamuna also shocked all by expressing same view. She said that after a long time she had watched a movie and it was Baahubali, which was a stupid movie.
