It is the first time when Golden beauty of South Indian film Industry, Shruthi Hassan is sharing the screen space with Naga Chaitanya for the upcoming romantic entertainer drama “Premam”, the remake of Malayalam hit movie of same name Premam. Two more actresses Anupama Parameshwaran and Madonna Sebastine are also romancing with Chaitu.
It is heard that when movie was in the pre-production stage, Naga Chaitanya recommended the name of Shruthi Hassan to makers to play the female lead role. According to Chaitu, Shruthi was fit for the role and he was very keen to bring her on the board. But the producer was not able to afford her because she was basking on the glory of successful movie like Race Gurram and Srimanthudu, and she had become very costly for the producers. Finally the makers decided to cut Rs 50 Lakh remuneration of Naga Chaitanya to adjust the hiked remuneration of Shruthi and Chaitu was agreed. Finally the movie is gearing up for grand release on 12th August .
Chandoo Mondeti is being helm this megaphone and Nag Vamsi is bankrolling this upcoming drama under the banner of Sitara Entertainment whereas the music is scored by Rajesh Murugesan and Gopisunder.
