It's indeed a happy new year for Ajit and Shalini. Remember Shalini? The child artiste who acted with lots of films with stars like Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh? She is best remembered for her roles in Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari among others.
She then went on to act in a couple of films in Tamil, before she tied the knot with the Tamil star Ajith and settled as a homemaker.
Now comes the news that she has given birth to a lovely little girl at Chennai's Apollo Hospital in the wee hours of today. Naturally, both the parents are ecstatic.
