Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s highly anticipated 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni audio release date and venue have almost been locked. It is said to be a grand gala event to be held in temple town of Tirupati on December 16th and Taraka Rama Stadium is touted to be venue. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film Baahubali: The Beginning audio release function was also celebrated at the same venue. Apparently, makers of GPSK are hoping the Baahubali sentiment to repeat.
Initially, GPSK audio release was planned for December 9th. However, they have postponed the event for a week days. An official confirmation regarding this is awaited. Chirantan Bhatt who associated with Krish for couple of films such as Gabbar Is Back and Kanche has composed soundtracks for GPSK. Bhatt replaced Devi Sri Prasad when the latter walked out of the project owing to other commitments.
The film is done with entire production works and Krish wrapped up shooting just in 79 working days. Shriya Saran and Hema Malini will be seen in crucial roles as Balakrishna’s wife and mother. The film based on life history of 2nd century CE, Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni is scheduled for release on January 11th for Sankranthi, 2017.
