Aascar Films Ravichandran a big producer, who bagged a world wide sensational success with 'Dasavatharam', is now making a new film in a huge budget, casting 'Ghajini' Surya in a double role lead. The film is titled as 'Surya S/o Krishnan'. Gautham Menon, the man who directed the cop flick 'Gharshana' is directing this film. The music composed by top music director Harris Jayaraj was recently released in Tamil and has become a chartbuster hit.
Preparations are on to release the Telugu audio in a grand event, on the eve of Vijaya Dasami, in the presence of eminent persons from the Film Industry, said Mr C.J.Ramana & Vijay the heads of SVR Media, who have acquired rights to release the film in Telugu.
Speaking to the press director Gautham Menon said, 'Wonderful performance of Surya is the highlight for this film. In combination with Harris Jayaraj this has become another musical hit for me. The film which is lavishly made on Aascar Ravichandran's banner has a blend of love, action and emotion. As a director, I am satisfied with all the aspects in this film. I am sure this will register a huge success commercially. This will also be a sensational hit in Surya's career.'
Many corporate companies are competing to own the distribution rights for this film. Further, the producer of hits 'Dil' Raju has purchased the Naizam area rights with a fancy offer, and this in turn has increased the expectations on the film.
The movie which chronicles the life of a man from childhood to old age for which Surya had undergone drastic physical changes to portray the character. The six pack abs displayed by the actor has created hype in the south already. All these elements add up to the upcoming film 'Surya S/O Krishnan'.
Surya, Sameera Reddy, Divya Spandana and Simran are playing the main cast. Music is composed by Harris Jayaraj, photography by Rathna Velu and editing is done by Anthony. Art direction is handles by Rajeev, Stunts co-ordinated by Super Subbahrayan and Hijack Javed.
'Surya S/o Krishnan' is yet another huge prestigious project from Aascar Films banner that has been canned in Afghanistan, Russia and America. The arrival of Deepavali will bring along this movie as a gift for the occasion.
