The one and only lady music director of the Telugu film industry, MM Srilekha made her debut into movies at a very tender and school-going age of 12 years.
She was introduced by Darsaka Ratna, Dr Dasari Narayana Rao, through 'Nannagaru'. Later she had scored music for over 40 films including 'Taj Mahal, Dharma Chakram, Sivanna, Kondapalli Rattaiah, Adirindayya Chandram, Ammayi Baagundi, Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila, Operation Duryodhana'.
Besides giving melodious tunes to the films, she also earned good recognition as a melodious singer among the Telugu audiences and earned a fixed place in their hearts.
This young and dynamic music director is celebrating her birthday on September 8.
