According to the Chennai reporters, Mahesh Babu's Dookudu has netted approximately Rs 51 lakhs from 17 Chennai screens and is in the number1 position. With this thumping record, Mahesh Babu joins the elite group of other language actors like Aamir Khan, Shah Rukha Khan and Salman Khan to open in the No.1 slot at the Chennai box office in terms of collections. Back in AP, Dookudu is a red-hot hit as the crowd goes berserk at the theaters. Even in USA, Dookudu gone past the million dollar mark in just couple of days setting a new Telugu cinema record.
