MM wishes Sagi Venky a happy b'day!

It is indeed a happy birthday for victory Venkatesh. He is flush with the success of 'Thulasi' and his fans are asking for more action. With three hits in a row and his audience wanting more from him, what else can a star ask when he is entering the last years of his 40s.

He is off on a holiday with family. He confesses son Arjun had watched 'Thulasi' and got carried away by a few scenes, but refrains from disclosing what he does for dad dearest on his birthday. 'He is too young and I want to keep him away from the limelight,' he says with a calm smile. 'Just about everyone thinks it's Arjun who had acted in 'Thulasi', but I will give him some time before he debuts on screen.

After all, since he is from a filmi family, he is bound to be fascinated by the celluloid world. But it will be many years before he will decide on his career and at that time, he will do where his destiny would lead him,' he says with his usual philosophical twist.

As for the future, he has plans of starting his own production house, to start working on scripts that he likes and to continue to search within himself. Well, he had started out with the Art of Living and Sudarshan Kriya, but says he has moved beyond them now. 'The search is constant and directed inwards. The effort to better myself as a human being is an on-going process,' he says.

On a more material plane, he is said to have looked into scripts, and the ones he had given the nod to, would be announced before he returns from his trip. He is likely to do a film each for Yogi, Manjula, Shekhar Kammula among others. Once back, he will begin shooting before he takes off for the cricket series in Australia in March. 'Watch out for me, you could find me in some stadium for sure,' he laughs as he says good bye.

We at MM wish him many more happy returns of the day!
