Like most other things in the Telugu film industry, the music scene too is being dominated by Tamils. This is certainly no complaint. But the point is that many Telugu composers are now out of work.
For instance, R P Patnaik is without any new film in Telugu. Devi Sri Prasad is clutching at the straws. Other music directors like Mani Sharma and M M Keeravani are busy. But they have competition from the Tamil music men.
Among those from Tamil, Yuvan Shankar Raja (the son of the great Ilayaraja) and Harris Jeyraj are the most wanted here.
Both are talented musicians and their tunes have obviously worked in Telugu. Then there are Tamil musicians like Srikanth Deva, Imman who are also having a decent run. Then of course, A R Rehman is around (he scores the music for Pawan's Satyagrahi).
