Naga Chaitanya's recent outing 'Premam' has received good reviews and decent openings but the film has not exactly cashed in the Dasara festival season and ended its theatrical run on a rather disappointing note.Considering the craze for the romantic drama, the distribution rights of all areas fetched the career best sold figures for Chay. But, even after showcasing the biggest solo performance of the actor, 'Premam' failed to land the distributors in safe zone. The total worldwide theatrical rights of Premam were sold for Rs 23 crore and the film has collected a share of Rs 21.5 Cr in its full run, leaving minor losses to all the domestic distributors including Dil Raju, who has acquired the Nizam rights for Rs 6 crore. The film however has collected just Rs 5.35 crore in this area.Overseas distributor however has pocketed decent profit after the film has collected $820k. On the other hand, the makers pocketed another Rs 5.5 Cr through satellite rights and on the whole, Premam fetched them close to Rs 30 crore.
