In May 2014, Thalaivar joined Twitter band wagon amidst rousing reception from fans all over the World. He kept shattering one record after the other to join 3 Million club within two years. Currently, He is much ahead of other Southern Stars such as Mahesh Babu (2.26M), Trisha (2.65M), Samantha (2.43M) and Siddharth (2.2M). Pawan Kalyan (928K) is yet to reach 1M mark inspite of joining Twitter in August 2014.
So far, Rajinikanth tweeted 29 Times and he is following 19 prominent personalities which include PM Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan and Twitter handles of several Media Houses.
