Ram Charan’s Bollywood debut film Zanjeer is gearing up for a release as per earlier planned schedule on September 6 and along with this, the Telugu version titled Thoofan will also be simultaneously hitting the screens.
Director Apoorva Lakhia has confirmed the news on his micro-blogging page and tweeted, “Yevadu pushed to 21st Aug, now two charan films within 2 weeks, awesome news for all his fans. Zanjeer/thoofan date fixed for 6th sept 3 months ago.”
Apoorva Lakhia has also rubbished off the rumors on the film’s postponement. Ram Charan is playing the role of ACP Vijay Khanna in the film while Priyanka Chopra plays his love interest. The film is being produced by Amit Mehra and Reliance Entertainment. Yogi has supervised the works for the Telugu version Thoofan.
