Puri Jagannath, who rewrote the history of the 75-year-old Telugu cinema, had made his debut as producer through 'Idiot' on the banner of 'Vaishno Academy'.
Almost all the films that came on the banner with negative titles were proved big hits and created records. His debut film 'Idiot' as producer-director earned him good name.
His film 'Pokiri' also became a massive hit. Very recently he is directing Allu Arjun for 'Desa Muduru' on the banner of Universal Media.
After this film, Puri had committed to do one film to Aswinidutt to introduce Ram Charan Teja as hero, another to KS Rama Rao with Prabhas as hero.
Meanwhile, Puri Jagannath had registered a title 'Kanthri' in the Chamber. One had to wait and watch which hero will play this title role.
