Tamil star Suriya is treated as a Telugu hero. And that is the reason why all his films are making strong pre release business in Telugu states and are getting good openings here.
But, for any film, where it is of a star or non-superstar, promotions are a key to please audience to come and watch in theaters.
Suriya acted in a brief role as well as co-produced a message oriented children film 'Memu' that hit the screens last Friday. While Suriya promoted the movie in Tamil during its release long ago, he is not caring about the Telugu version which is dying owing to lack of publicity.
Memu was supposed to release simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Nonetheless, it got delayed for such long time, attributable to some reasons. Meanwhile, three producers have been changed for the film.
In fact, Memu has shades of Hindi classic hit 'Tare Zameen Par'; it has its own significance in portrayal. Those who watched the movie are appreciating the director Pandiraj for making a meaningful and an educational film for parents troubling their kids for ranks.
If Suriya supports Memu by endorsing it at least for one or two days, it will reach to public. Or else, it will not be seen anywhere in next week.
A normal movie buff questions, why Suriya is neglecting this movie, when he made it on personal interest?
