After a week’s recce in the snow cold valleys of Jammu & Kashmir, Iru Mugan team is back in Chennai heading to their 3rd schedule which is starting from the 20th of this month. According to insiders this schedule will be the longest one till may end and the team is busy planning to can in 8 different sets created in different floors in chennai during March - April and then heads on to Kashmir and again to can some sequence in Chennai before finally takes on to Bangkok during April- May. Full credits to director and technicians, who are giving their best without any breaks. Its also heard that this schedule also includes 3 songs with the lead pair Vikram and Nayanthara. Nayanthara who is busy filming Kashmora with Karthi in the lead joins on this 21st as the team is planning to start on with a song after their high octane action sequence canned in their last schedule. Brindha master is roped in for the choreography with lyrics penned by karky set to tunes by Harris Jayaraj. Shibu Thameens bank rolls this project which is helmed by Anand Shankar.
'Iru Mugan' audio and theatrical release plans
Actor Vikram's upcoming mega budget stylish action flick 'Iru Mugan' is currently in its final schedule of shooting. The film directed by Anandh Shankar of 'Arima Nambi' fame stars Nayanthara and Nithya Menen as female leads with Vikram. We learn from reliable sources that the makers who have planned to release the film on August 12 to cash in on the long Independence Day Holiday weekend. The music album can be expected to release in the first week of July. Harris Jayaraj has done the musical score for this Shibu Thameens production venture. We will have to wait for official announcement on the release plans.

The songs of Vikram's most-anticipated Iru Mugan will be release on August 2 at Sathyam Cinemas. Music composed by Harris Jayaraj is one of the ket highlights of the project. Rumours are rife that Vikram plays role of a transgender in the second half of the film while he plays a RAW agent in the first half. Actor Chiyaan Vikram's 'Iru Mugan' has been censored with a U/A certificate. Now the decks are cleared for the grand release on September 8. Today's newspaper ads of the film are expected carry the release date. Sources reveal that the distributors have started booking theaters to release 'Iru Mugan' on September 8. The film is an international spy thriller directed by Anand Shankar of 'Arima Nambi' fame. The film stars Vikram in dual roles of a RAW agent and a effeminate villain. Nayanthara and Nithya Menen play the female lead roles. Nasser, Thambi Ramaiyah, Karunakaran and Riythvika have played the supporting characters. Harris Jayaraj has done the musical score, RD Rajasekar has handled cinematography while Bhuvan Srinivasan has taken care of Editing. 'Iru Mugan' has been produced on a grand scale by Shibu Thameens.
