More news →'Sarrainodu' teaser to be screened in 1,000 screens
The first teaser of Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu actioner "Sarrainodu" will be screened in 1,000 screens across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Bengaluru on Friday. "While the 30 seconds teaser will be officially unveiled on Thursday, it will be screened in theatres the next day. Usually, only trailers are released in theatres but the makers have made an exception with this project," a source from the film's unit told. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Catherine Tresa and Aadi Pinisetty. Produced by Allu Aravind, "Sarrainodu" has music by S.S. Thaman.
Sarrainodu sets New Record in West
'Sarrainodu' emerged as the only film to cross Rs 1 crore share in West Godavari on Day 1 in Allu Arjun's career. The film managed to be among Top 5 highest Day 1 earner in the district, only next to 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh', 'Baahubali', 'Srimanthudu' & 'Bruce Lee'. First Day West Godavari district share: Rs 10303058 (5728058+4575000 [Fixed Hires]). In West Godavari, Only Pawan Kalyan (Sardaar) and Rajamouli (Baahubali) were able to have Rs 2 crore-plus share on Day 1. In the Rs 1 crore league, Mahesh Babu have two films (Srimanthudu & Aagadu), Ram Charan (Bruce Lee) and Allu Arjun (Sarrainodu) have one each. NTR is yet to achieve the rare feat in this territory.
Sarrainodu enters All Time Top 10
By the end of 10-days run, 'Sarrainodu' managed to achieve two feats. While one of them is emerging as the biggest earner of year 2016, The other one is to find a place in the All Time Top 10 TFI earners list. This is for the third consecutive year in a row, An Allu Arjun starrer stood as bigger earner of the year until that point of time. 'Sarrainodu' earned a Worldwide share of around Rs 53 crore till Sunday. Collections in 2nd Weekend were excellent and 'Race Gurram' full run share will be crossed by the end of Week 2. This mass entertainer have every chase of becoming one among All Time Top 5 TFI earners by the end of full run. Sarrainodu’s latest Krishna region collections
Bunny’s Sarrainodu hit the screens to some massive openings and minted money big time. Latest update reveals that the film has collected a total share of 3.5 crores till date in the Krishna region. The above said collections are huge and the highest in this area for any Allu Arjun film. Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, Sarrainodu showcased Bunny in a complete mass avatar for the very first time in his career. Rakul Preet was the female lead and Thaman scored the music.
