Ajith Arrambam wrapped up
Ajith’s Arrambam directed by Vishnuvardhan has wrapped up all the shooting schedules and the first copy will be readied by mid October. Ajith, Nayantara, Arya, Taapsee and Rana Daggubati starred Arrambam final patchwork shoots were done in a shopping mall in Mumbai with two main leads of the film Ajith and Arya. Planned for a grand release for Diwali in November, Arrambam team is busy with the post-production in Chennai. In brief, Ajith’s Arrabam muhurtham was done in Mumbai on May 31, 2012 followed by title announcement [July 25, 2013], audio release and official trailer unveiled [Sep 19, 2013] were done on Thursdays and now makers are planning Arrambam release date on 31st October due to Thursday sentiment. Nayantara, Arya, Taapsee and Rana Daggubati are playing lead roles in director Vishnuvardhan’s Arrambam alongside Ajith under Shri Sathya Sai Movies banner with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Ajith-Vishnuvardhan project titled 'Arrambam'
After being untitled for nearly one and half years on the floors, Ajith Kumar's upcoming Tamil thriller has finally been titled "Arrambam", which is being directed by Vishnuvardhan. "The crew has finally unveiled the name as 'Arrambam'. A simple yet powerful title that isn't glorifying an individual but signifying the theme of the movie," said a statement. Produced by A.M. Ratnam, "Arrambam" also features Nayantara, Rana Daggubati, Arya, Taapsee Pannu, Kishore, Atul Kulkarni, Mahesh Manjrekar and Suma Ranganath. The film, which is set for September release, has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Meanwhile, Ajith is busy shooting for Tamil romantic-drama "Vinayagam Brothers".
Ajith’s Arrambam firstlook unveiled
First look posters of Ajith, Nayantara, Arya, Taapsee and Vidharth starring Arrambam have been unveiled. Thala’s dashing appearance on a Ducati bike fulfilled the long wait of Ajith fans. Director Vishnuvardhan says, “Arrambam has its own word and I’m happy with the title’s overwhelming response. Delay was not deliberate, but I felt it created more hype among audiences.” About the film Vishnuvardhan briefed, “Ajith plays central character as a courageous warrior, while Arya and Nayantara play key roles that circle around Ajith.” “Ajith sir is popular for his grayish look of 'Mankaatha'. In fact I requested Ajith sir to introduce that get up in my film only but Venkat Prabhu over took me and the rest was history .This look suits Ajith sir so well and I honestly believe nobody can match him in this style,” believes Vishnuvardhan. Vishnuvardhan’s Ajith starrer Arrambam is an action film with a racy script and far racier compared to Billa. “Arrambam will be a perfect entertainer to classes, masses along with Ajith sir's fans alike,” concluded Vishnuvardhan.
