Chiyaan Vikram is back with a bang after seeing some low time in his career. He is one of finest actors in Kollywood with unique acting skills. He proved his mettle in many films and also made experimental attempts in his career.
Vikram was recently conferred with a Doctorate by The University of Milan, Italy. And the latest we hear is that the versatile actor has been selected by the UN Habitat (United Nations Human Settlement Programme) as the Youth Envoy for the Asian Contingent.Only four envoys are selected from around the world and our very own Chiyaan is one among them. Vikram is now going to attend the 23rd Governing Council meet in Nairobi, Kenya which begins from 11th to 15th April 2011.
Vikram speaking from Nairobi said that”UN Habitat works for the eradication of poverty for providing sustainable Urban Development and improving livelihoods of the poor people. I am really blessed and honored to be a part of this organization”. The actor who takes part in social activities wants to give something back to people and Vikram joined with UN Habitat to achieve and carry forward the goals.
