Om Prakash Rao the reputed director of Kannada cinema has once again roped in scenes from various Kannada, Telugu and Tamil films and made this hotchpotch action film thrilling the fans of Darshan. The second half of the film is lifted from 'Sambha' of Junior NTR. The first half and some scenes remind of Kannada film 'Gokarna', Tamil film 'Basha'.
Ganesh alias Ishwar (Darshan) settled in Bangalore has a horrible flash back to take up condiment business with his sister and brother. The two warring factions in his native town Mandya reaches a high boiling point. The bloodshed and bizarre of deaths spoils the atmosphere in Mandya. The police ask Ishwar to leave Mandya for some years. In the city he is eking out living as Ganesha with his own condiment small scale industry. He is a Samaritan in city too. He teaches a lesson to cylinder Seena a hardcore criminal's brother when he perturb his sister in the college. He is humble and simple and gives good care for his brother and sister in the city. He is called by his people in 'Mandya' as the hopeless situation from disgruntled elements is ruining the peace of people. Back in Mandya Ishwar takes up the cause of educating all his people from the quarry business retrieving the papers related to it from the goons. He has answer from his muscle power for all his opponents.
In Mandya he has Ganga (Radhika) and in Bangalore he has Paru (Rakshita) both falling for me. Ganga dies while Paru immensely love him.
The action scenes are more than half a dozen. Darshan dialogues highlighting Mandya district of Karnataka deserves full compliments.
Darshan dialogue delivery has to improve. In Kannada the Aa and Ha he fails to transmit properly. In action scenes he is superb. This film is tailor-made for his fans.
Both Rakshita and Radhika have been very liberal in skin show. Rakshita coming out from bath room to attend her father's telephone call, running scene and falling on Darshan is not expected from her to be so cool and kicking. In another scene Radhika tying Darshan to a cot and forcing him to get approval for marriage is where Radhika has been liberal for the first time in skin show.
Gurukiran's only one song is foot tapping. Cinematography by Anaji Nagaraj is mediocre.
A fare for fans of Darshan!
