by MyMazaa.com

Plot:
Vijay Rajaram (Murali Sharma) & Anand Prasad Rao (Anand), two close friends, invest their hard-earned money in business ventures. After an unexpected set back in business, Vijay Rajaram ends their bonding accusing Anand Prasad Rao of cheating him.

Few decades later, Vijay Rajaram decides to sell the rice mill he owns to bear the expenses of his Brother's Daughter marriage. That's when he invites his Nephew Karthik (Sushanth) to his house for signing the property documents. Thereafter, Karthik solves all the problems in the Family one after the other. In the meantime, Love blossoms between Karthik and Vijay Rajaram's Daughter Sruthi (Sonam Bajwa). One fine day, Sonam comes to know about an untold secret of Karthik. The rest of the story is about how Karthik manages to achieve his goal fighting all the odds.

Performances:
Sushanth tried a new look for 'Aatadukundam Raa'. He, however, didn't show any improvement in dialogue delivery and body language. Out of all, His combination scenes with Brahmanandam have shaped up well. He even tried to imitate Nagarjuna in many scenes.

Sonam Bajwa impressed the audience to some extent with her glamourous outfits and skin show. She, however, didn't contribute much in terms of performance.

Murali Sharma failed to recreate the magic of 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy'. Posani Krishna Murali & Pruthvi tickled the funny bone. Brahmanandam yet again appears in the role of a Bakra.

Plus:
Sonam Bajwa's Glamour
Cameos of Akhil & Chaitu

Minus:
Sushanth
Narration
Second Half

Technicalities:
Compositions of Anup Rubens were just satisfactory. Cinematography is decent enough. Script Writer Sridhar Sipana followed a fixed format while penning the story & screenplay. Some of the Dialogues written by him kept the viewers in splits. Production Values were good & Makers hardly bothered about the minimal market of Sushanth. Director G Nageshwar Reddy failed to incorporate hilarious episodes in this routine subject.

Analysis:
Usually, Heroes who are badly in need of a success chose hit formula to play a safe game rather than trying to take risk with new concepts. Even Sushanth opts for a beaten to death formula. 'Aatadukundam Raa' have close resemblance to both 'Kalisundam Raa' and 'Ready'. Be it Story, Screenplay, Characterizations, Comedy, Romance and Songs, Every aspect about this new outing give a routine feel.

Makers used 'Time Machine' concept to generate humor and the set design is grand. However, Don't expect any hilarious comedy here. Pruthvi's role reminds us of Boiling Star Babloo from 'Loukyam'. Even though its so routine, Pruthvi and Brahmi managed to bring smiles on the faces of viewers at times.

Hero Sushanth stood as a major weak element in 'Aatadukundam Raa'. Neither romantic track of Lead Pair nor Songs were impressive. The Lead Actor failed to match up with the comic timing of leading comedians.

Akkineni Family legacy has been used to the fullest by Sushanth this time. There were lot of references to Akkineni Heroes from ANR to Akhil in the movie. While Akhil entertains with his dance moves in a song, Naga Chaitanya makes his presence felt with a cameo. Go for it if you are in a mood to watch time pass yet routine entertainer.

Verdict:
Over all Routine Story onec again

Rating: 2/5
