Dubai Seenu Review

Dubai Seenu - Raviteja back in form, bags hit
Sreenu Vaitla who gave a hit like Venky with Raviteja, scripted another tailor-made subject for the hero. Though it was a routine revenge drama, the director chose to narrate it in a different way with different flashbacks coming in with a reasonable time gap.

Another speciality is that popular hero JD Chakravarthy who was away from Telugu films for the past some time, appears in a guest role, while Neha, who paired up with Allu Arjun in Dil playing his wife. The film came from Universal Media banner which gave a blockbuster like Desamuduru in the beginning of this year with Danayya as producer.

With Sreenu Vaitla who was on cloud nine with a recent hit like Dhee and heroine Nayanatara who gave a hit like Lakshmee, the film had huge expectations among the audiences in general and industry in particular. All those expectations were proved right and the film bagged a talk from above average to hit talk right from the morning show. The film has good mass values and would be very attractive for the youth.

Srinivas (Raviteja) is very popular in his village as Dubai Seenu. He has dreams of going to Dubai to earn lots of money. However, Seenu and his friends reach Mumbai get cheated by a fraudster (Venumadhav). After realising that they were cheated, they start a Pav Bhaji centre with the help of Patnaik (Krishna Bhagawan). He is also a fraudster.
Madhumati (Nayanatara), who was working as a Radio Jackie goes to Mumbai in search of her brother. Seenu meets Madhu in a local train and loses his heart. Luckily she surfaces right before his Pav Bhaji centre. Seenu dares to propose his love, but Madhu did not reply and disappears. While Seenu was in search of Madhu, he meets Chakri (JD Chakravarthy).

In fact, Seenu helps Chakri who loved Puja (Neha) and got them married. Chakri and Puja promise Seenu to help him to go to Dubai. They make all arrangements. They too plan to return to Hyderabad to repay the loan borrowed by Chakris father for his education. Just before leaving the office, Chakri finds that their boss is none other than Jinna (Sushant) the most wanted mafia don in India.

Finding that Chakri recognised him, Jinna and his brother (Raghu) kill both of them right before Seenu. Minutes before his death, Chakri reveals that Madhu was his sister. Seenu returns to Hyderabad and avenges the killing of his best friend Chakri by killing Jinna and his brother.

Sreenu Vytlas direction, fantastic and superb performance of Raviteja, Nayanataras glamour, comedy by MS Narayana are the highlights. Sayaji Shinde played a typical role of comedy villainy, while Venumadhav and Krishna Bhagawan went away with honours as fraudsters. Bhanuchanders character looked too insignificant.

The heros catchword Appadam Ayipothundi has become very popular. The film has Ravitejas mark comedy as well and he perfectly maintained the comedy timing.

Music by Manisharma is good and choreography of songs was also good to watch. Cinematography by Bharani K Dharan was excellent.
Especially in action scenes the different kind of shots looked variety. Dialogues by Chintapalli Ramana are okay.

The satires on how the heroes involve in the directors work and give suggestions these days were perfectly shot. As a whole the film which was aimed at attracting the mass and youth audiences could reach its goal easily.
