Performances
Sundeep Kishan is at ease in the role of Kittu and he performs quite well. He underplays in the role and is good in dances and romantic scenes.
Regina is glamorous and her characterization is perky. She does the role very well with good emotions and once again, Sundeep Kishan, Regina shares sizzling chemistry on-screens.
Jagapathi Babu is impressive, Thagubothu Ramesh is hilarious, Tanikella Bharani, Kalyani, Ravi Babu, Brahmaji, Satyam Rajesh and others are adequate.
Technical Analysis
Sriram’s cinematography is an asset for the movie. Each and every frame looked colorful and classy. Achu’s musical scores are ear-pleasing and the background score is elevating. Mahesh Babu’s direction is just okay and the screenplay is predictable. Dialogues are good in parts while the editing isn’t consistent. Production values are rich.
Analysis
Ra Ra Krishnayya is slightly inspired from Hindi film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya which itself is freemake of Danny Boyle's 'A Life Less Ordinary. However, the director failed to make it exciting despite decent script.
The first half of the movie is dry with not much fun while the director handled the emotional scenes in second half well. Story is highly predictable and the screenplay is gripping only in parts. Despite Jagapathi Babu onboard, director failed to etch good characterization for him and dealt the role in a funny way.
Sundeep Kishan and Regina shares very good chemistry and have performed quite well. A good first could have made Ra Ra Krishnayya a good watch.
