Story:

Temper is the story of an orphan boy Daya [NTR], who becomes Police Officer after he noticed cops getting utmost respect and also make illegal money. Waltair Vasu [Prakash Raj] is a corrupted man, who is in search of a convenient police and gets Daya transfered to Vizag. Twist in the tale is when Daya cross swords with Vasu and goes against his empire. Meanwhile, Daya searches for his kidnapped girlfriend [Kajal Aggarwal] and get to know there is a big motive behind this. What is the motive? Did Daya rescue his lover? Did Daya redeemed himself by punishing culprits? Forms the crux of Temper...

Performances:

NTR has done a lifetime role, be it be his dashing looks with six-pac or the character with negative shade. Expressions and dance are like cake walk for him. The dialogue delivery with slight modulation and little variation in different phases made him the perfect choice for Daya's role.

Kajal Aggarwal has nothing much to perform yet leaves her mark in limited role.

Prakash Raj as Waltair Vasu is perfect in the negative role. And being a film in Puri combination, one is sure to remember Prakash Raj's Dattu character from Sivamani, but his appearance and dialogue delivery makes the difference.

Posani Krishna Murali steals the show with a single expression and it is worth mentioning that he did not use his inevitable word 'Raja' in Temper. Among others, Madhurima is quite good in her role and brings necessary impact and others have done their parts well.

Technical Analysis:

Puri Jagannadh is the man behind Temper and script writer Vakkantam Vamsi, NTR shares the credits equally with him. Sreenplay and dialogues brings freshness to NTR's character and are highly entertaining.

Songs by Anoop Rubens are already chartbuters. Title track 'Temper' and 'Devudaa' songs are well shot and rightly placed. Mani Sharma's background score is compelling. Striking stunts by Vijay. SR Sekhar's editing is crisp.

Analysis:

Temper is the treasured film for NTR fans and a big thanks to Puri for his trade mark hero characterization. Whistles and claps for dialogues, especially the police station and court scenes couldn't be done better. Effectively handled climax overpowers the illogical scenes like the CD one.

First half of Temper is average, though NTR-Kajal Aggarwal's chemistry if good. Kajal has nothing to do in the second half. Sonia Aggarwal is merely wasted. Tried and tested story line and becomes highly predictable towards the end.
