Story:

Tiger [Sundeep Kishan] and Vishnu [Rahul Ravindran] are childhood friends, who break their friendship over Vishnu's love for Geetha [Seerat Kapoor]. Years pass by, Geetha's parents trouble the love birds [Vishnu-Geetha] and plan to kill them. How Tiger saves them forms the crux of the movie.

Performances:

Sundeep Kishan is the best thing happened to Tiger. His rugged look, body language and slang suited the role. More powerful dialogues and the Tiger would have roared louder.

Rahul Ravindran is at his regular best. He performance is subtle. Rahul delivered balanced act in friendship and love portions.

Seerat Kapoor is okay in her slick role. Others have done their roles best.

Technical Analysis:

Tiger is not a fresh story, but Vi Anand has to be appreciated for his story telling. Screenplay is simple and engaging, while dialogues could have been better.

SS Thaman is the highlight of Tiger. It is one of his career's best. Besides chartbuster songs, Tiger background music takes the leap. Especially, the way Sundeep Kishan's heroism is elevated are classy.

Chota K Naidu is top notch. His camera angles and the way he captured kasi had to be specially mentioned.

Editing is crisp. Overall, Sundeep Kishan's Tiger is a lavish production by Tagore Madhu and NV Prasad of Leo Productions banner.

Analysis:

Tiger is Sundeep Kishan's career's best so far and will be a game changer for his future. It may not be a best debut for best attempt by AR Murugadoss's assistant Vi Anand. Best technical support by Thaman and Chota had taken Tiger to next leve that the movie is not just a formulaic commercial cinema.
