Which a title like Good Boy, corny or tacky puns in reviews are inevitable. But the truth matter is Good Boy is anything but that. Not at all good. Of course, it is for boys with plenty of skin show by the heroine.

The story of the film is something that Methuselah might have heard in his childhood. A jilted lover, who is spurned on the grounds that he is uneducated and pauper, in a fit of vengeance, goes to become a IAS officer.

Now, if you are wondering where is the story in this, well it has to be somewhere in the above paragraph.

Vamsi (Rohit) is the unlettered youth who falls head over heels for Krishna Veni (Navneet Kaur).

But after some by-play, she rejects him, and Vamsi then goes on to become a big officer and shoulders family responsibilities. The end is whether the two indeed become two some.

Rohit has raw energy. You can see it in his dance movements. But his facial muscles sure need some more exercises, as he looks wooden in certain sequences.

Navneet does not look wooden, but seems made of fine wood, as it were, as she puts a show of flesh and glamour.

The comedy track, in the overall context of the film is passable.

Vandematram Srinivas's music has bang and rhythms. But, unfortunately,little else.

Nageswara Reddy's direction is found wanting in many places.

Good Boy. Certainly not.
