It is known that hit films of Srikanth €“ 'TajMahal', 'Preyasi Rave' and 'Sri Krishna 2006' were all previously made on this banner. A review on this newly released 4th film of Srikanth, on the same banner.

Story

Ranga Rao (Kota Srinivasa Rao) has two daughters Kausalya (Gouri Munjal) and Supraja (Charmme). He likes both his daughters very much and dote them. One of his daughters Kausalya falls in love with Ravi (Shivaji), the son of Narasimham (Tanikella Bharani). Ranga Rao upon knowing the news warns Kausalya that if they attempt to get married, he will murder them. Raged by the threat, Kausalya and Ravi gets married in a temple without the knowledge of their parents. In a consequent fight, Kausalya gets hurt and goes into coma, while Ravi runs away from the place.

SriRam (Srikanth) who was also present there at the incident rescues Kausalya and arranges her treatment in a disguised name Lakshmi. For the sake of her treatment SriRam joins RangaRao as an assistant. Supraja (Charmme) who observes the goodness of SriRam starts liking him. Soon RangaRao gets to know that his elder daughter has died in a mishap. Supraja on knowing that his father is the cause of her sister's death flees away from him. Did SriRam and Supraja meet again? How SriRam unites Kausalya and Ravi? What happens at the end? The answers to these questions are to be watched on screen.

Performance of Artists

Srikanth who earlier did hits like 'TajMahal', 'Preyasi Rave' and 'Sri Krishna 2006' on Suresh Productions banner, has portrayed the role of a humane person with loads of mercy etched into him. He did within the limits of his role. His role is a pivotal part of the film.

The role of Charmme in this film, compared to her earlier roles is very dull and lacks sheen. There is nothing much to say about this not so appealing demeanor of Charmme.

Gouri Munjal who was introduced as a heroine with 'Bunny' in Tollywood, has earlier did 'Sri Krishna 2006' on this banner. After a gap, she has appeared in 'Kausalya Supraja Rama', and exhibited a performance that delivers a fine result.

Kota Srinivasa Rao as the father of Kausalya and Supraja portrayed the character in his own distinct style. Similarly, Tanekella Bharani who played a negative role after a long gap, acted well that imposes the dark shades.

The roles played by Krishna Bhagavan, LB Sriram, Venu Madhav and Brahmanandam have provided the required entertainment to the audience, which presents relief to a certain extent.

Technical Aspects

The music is composed by Koti for this film. The audio seems to be made of tunes that have already been made. Some of them are identical to old movie tunes and it seems to be a photocopy. The song featuring Charmme appears like the copy of a song from 'Race'. The music is in no way an additional asset for the film but acts as a deterioration.

The editing of Marthand K Venkatesh leaves many a voids along the full length of the movie.

Although the dialogues supplied by Satyanand ok to a certain extent, there is nothing new about the story and it appears like an old story that is presented with a new title.

Director€™s Portrayal

If said in a nutshell the work done by director Suryaprasad is a total zero. The film lacks a proper tempo, and it gives a feeling of watching a serial telecasted by satellite channels to the viewer. We can say that Surya Prasad has failed miserably to entertain the audience and the flick has become a dud.

Cons

Everything, the story is composed on a routine formula, and there is nothing new about it. It seems like a repetition of an old story. All the technical divisions including music have failed to cater good entertainment. The main aspect is the scenes and narrative style of this movie depicts a serial rather than a feature film. In short, the movie gives the feel of a mega serial that are usually dragged on.

Criticism

The story and screenplay completely lacks freshness, driving the viewer to an extent of irritation. Though the theme is good, the way it has been featured is boring and vague. It would be a miraculous happening, if this film stays in the box office for long.
