Story:

A classic tale the story begins with Chandravathi (shriya) who is a princess unable to find suitable alliances. Finally out of family compulsion her match is fixed with Arya (Ganesh Venkatraman) who lives in the USA. He is the son of queen Saraladevi. But Chandravathi is actually in love with Chandrahas (prem) who is an ayurvedic physician but very talented. But his father promises Chandravathi’s father not to cause any trouble. But on the day of marriage, Chandravathi comes up with a challenge. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:

The director has come up with a romantic storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was quite absorbing. The dialogues were well written. The script was above average and the screenplay made it lot better. The background score was melodious and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was crisp. Costumes were well designed to suit the royalty while the art department was majestic. The film belongs completely to Shriya Saran for her extraordinary beauty and the sex appeal she oozes in songs. She is an attention grabber onscreen. Prem Kumar was the lucky man to enjoy Shriya’s romance and he did his best. Ganesh Venkatraman was good. Vivek and Sadhu Kokila brought few smiles. Dr Srinath was elegant. The others didn’t get much scope.

Conclusion:

From the time the film hit the floors there was a lot of anticipation surrounding this project and it stood true to the expectations. The making and taking were very good. The first half of the film goes about with elements of romance, drama and other things but the interval twist was good. The second half progresses briskly and the climax has a good twist. Overall, the film provides a very soothing visual experience and with good classic touch. At the box office, the film is bound to score a good success.
