Deadly Soma Review
by MyMazaa.comDeadly Soma is badly made film. The glorification of violence, bloodshed, cutting the heads, legs and hands are very crude and it is as if made for the underworld fraternity. Ravi Srivatsa has no moral responsibility and he has picked the story of ex underworld criminal Deadly Soma and made an irresponsible film. First of all glorification of sheet anchor rowdy is not in good taste. The censor by giving 'A' certificate has closed the chapter and it has not taken a look at the impact on this type of film going to create in our society. Can the producer, director or artistes of this film bring their family and watch this film? It is an obnoxious film.
Somasekhara (Auditya) is a bright student. In the Kabbada match of his National college and RV College he is unnecessarily provoked. To avenge the insult he bash up one person black and blue. After that he has no room for family life. A series of incidents pour in his kitty and all of them he handles with guts and daggers. He lives in a far of place from his parents with wife Jyothi (Rakshita). One of the vital attacks he makes gives him the adage of 'Deadly'. That is so cruel and barbaric. In another attack Deadly Soma cuts off the head and the fallen head he pierces from his leg inside the cow dung.
Deadly Soma is a nightmare for the nightmare creators. At this juncture comes the cop Ashok Kumar. In the name of surrender drama the cop encounter Deadly Soma.
Auditya in emotional scenes fails to capture the attention. He has the perfect build to suit such rowdy roles. This is once again a bad selection for him. Rakshita has not much job to do. Her dance numbers in beach side is worst than the bedroom scenes. Where are you heading Rakshita? Skin show is not acting. Thara and Avinash give good emotions as parents.
No good music and no good photography.
You should have nerves to see this film. Look out for pleasant ones instead of this 'maramari' films.
