Naavu Geleyaru Review

The story revolves around Basava, a nomad boy, who earns money by begging along with his grandfather Doddabasavaiah (Krishnegowda), who is very innocent. Both of them take Gowri and Lakshmi, decorated two 'Kole Basavas' (bulls) as per their family tradition for begging. The brilliant Basava shows interest in studies. Two teachers in a government school take Rs 40,000 from Doddabasavaiah for admitting Basava to the school. But they fail to get admission to the boy which becomes a big issue. Basava had earned a lot of school friends and they decide to help him.

They send messages to their friends in other schools and ask them to join them for their fight against corruption. They succeeded in their protest with education minsiter (GK Govindarao) lambasting the two teachers and promising admission to Basava. Krishnegowda is graceful as Doddabasavaiah. Neenasam Ashwath impresses in the role of corrupt government teacher. Music by V Manohar is okay. Camera by Dhanush is average.
