Savi Savi Nenapu Review

This film 'Savi Savi Nenapu' does not touch our heart or stir our soul. The pace is slow and the narrative is not taut as there are unnecessary deviations from the main plot. The songs though melodious are not spaced properly. Despite of everything at his disposal director Pathaje gives a very feeble film. His attempt is very lethargic and home work should have incorporated so many things. With one failure '7 O' Clock' he has not learnt lessons. He belongs to the younger generation should know very well that he should not materialize his dreams at the expense of the very prominent producer like S.V.Babu.

The ingredients like good star cast (exception to newcomer Tejaswini), absorbing photography and melodious tunes are saving elements of the film. All these have not been properly utilized. Tight script and directorial brilliance could have saved the blemishes.

First semester in the Medical College Prem (Premkumar) and Preethi (Mallika Kapoor) careful enough not to fall in love but they ultimately fall in love after pranks and pleasantries. You find the banned ragging, banned mobiles in college campus and another ugly affair of taking photos through a mobile camera. It is disgusting. After one song they are shown as married couple. Prem is a very busy doctor. How could all these happen in such a speedy time? No questions please! The busy doctor Prem has no time to spend with his wife Preethi. 51 times he cancel his appointment given to his wife. Preethi signs donation of her heart at this time. As expected she is found in a deadly accident. Her heart is removed and transplanted on ailing Pallavi (Tejaswini). Pallavi with a new heart is not able to satisfy the needs of her husband that is Raj (Prem again) a pop singer. She is not able to take on excitement in life. She decides to disassociate from her husband Raj. After a tiff Raj leaves to London to flourish his singing profession. Prem now finds accidentally the heart of his wife is transplanted to Pallavi. He takes care of the ailing Pallavi. He pretends to her that he is Raj and comes very near in her life. When Pallavi counts her days Prem contact Raj to explain the situation. Raj comes on the scene and Prem silently walks out.

What the director is aiming to explain? No questions please!

Premkumar has done very well in two roles and four get ups. This is the kind of role that suits him. He has scope for acting and dance. He has sung a song in this film that is worth hearing again. Mallika Kapoor looks very pleasant. Not Tejaswini the newcomer in this film. She does not suit this kind role. Avinash has once again done a fine job.

The title song of this film Saviyo Savyo sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Goshal, Kanuva notave sung by 10th standard student Apoorva and Nenapu Nenapu€¦by S.P.Balasubramaniam are very melodious. The duo Chandraskehar and Guru Prashanth have done tremendous job behind the camera.

If you have enough time buy a ticket and watch this film!
