Kovai Sarala is an Indian film actress and comedienne, who prominently plays supporting roles. In a career spanning 25 years, Sarala has appeared in over 750 films.[1] She has also worked in television as a regular guest judge on Asathapovathu Yaaru. She has won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Comedian and the Nandi Award for Best Female Comedian for her performances in Poovellam Un Vasam (2001), and Ori Nee Prema Bangaram Kanu (2003), respectively
